Love Confusion

I love too much sometimes
I love too hard
I love without concern that in the end my heart may be broken
I know the risk
and I know what will eventualy come
I love nonetheless and that shall not pass so quickly
I love you more then I've ever loved someone
or more then I thought was possible or that I would

I see us now and I think of how we began
so unlikely so unexpected and so right
and here we are now still in love
yet not really together
still acting as one
still saying I love you
still going through the motions
but we are not together

I think of all we've gone through
and all we could still
all we can learn from one another
all we can teach
all the memories we can still build
though our time is short
and our future circumstance is ill fated
we still have some time
time to just be
so why are we suposably ended
yet still saying I love you?
